The framework of BPR can be used in two ways. First, we will be using it to specify a set of requirements onthe software tools that the Enterprise Integration Laboratory will be designing to support BPR.
We can also use the framework as a means of evaluating existing and identifying the stages of the BPR process where they provide the most support. In this way, we can identify those stages of the BPR process that are not supported by existing tools. To assist in this endeavour, the group has agreed to compile a library of tools and summaries of their capabilities.
