The 2009 Golden Award of Montreux will be held 21/22 April 2009
The Golden Award is traditionally, since 1989, the first international advertising and multimedia Competition in Europe - starting the global season for ranking and awarding creative excellence. All winners are promoted through international press releases and publicity campaigns. They are also featured in the Showcase section of our websites and adforum.com, the gateway to the advertising world.
Montreux was always valued as a perfect environment for creativity. The Deep Purple Classic "Smoke on the water" was written and recorded here - the first line is "we all came out to Montreux". Many artists lived here such as Freddie Mercury, Strawinsky, Tchaikovsky, Charlie Chaplin, Hemingway, Nabokov, Tolstoi. They all came out to the region and enjoyed the inspiration, like our Jurors for the Golden Award of Montreux.
