Resolutions For A Healthful New Year |
Believe it or not, I love New Year’s Resolutions. I think it’s a
great time to reflect on your life; what you want to change,
improve and leave behind. However, most of us create
resolutions that do not come to pass. They are too
hard, too fast and not meaningful enough to make
happen. We make promises of too many things. Yes,
you might want to lose 5 pounds. But probably not bad
enough to take it off and keep it off any more than you
were last year. So, if you really want your resolutions to
stick, spend some deep thought on what you want, why
you want it and how you are going to get there. Sometimes,
making your Resolution public can make a big difference. It
helps you commit when all the world hears what you want to do.
So, I share with you now my personal resolutions for 2009 (and how I’m going to get there).

Like most people in today’s world, I am over-committed. I am doing too much and feel
spread too thin. So, I sat down and made a venn diagram. I decided to put my most impor-
tant items in each circle. 1) My Family, 2) My Business, 3) My SELF. I am committing to im-
proving each area by doing one thing. Continued. Previous articles by Dr. Greene
