Mass Readings for
Wednesday, January 07, 2009
First: 1 Jn 4:11-18
Psalm: Ps 72:1-2, 10, 12-13
Second:
Gospel: Mk 6:45-52

Random Fact:
Descartes drank 50 cups of coffee a day.

Random Act:
Love.

Reflect:
What scares you the most? For me it is not a ghost, haunted houses, or anything like that. My biggest fear is losing God’s love. Impossible, God will always love us. Yet, in my human weakness of doubt I forget that. We have nothing to fear as Jesus reminded His disciples on the sea, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid!” He is Emmanuel, “God is with us,” and we have nothing to fear.

Quote of the Day:
"Behold, I make all things new."

Saint of the Day:
Christmas weekday (don't take those lights down yet!).
