Submissions are now open for the NCA 95th Annual Convention in Chicago

Thursday, November 12 - Sunday, November 15, 2009

The theme, “Discourses of Stability and Change,” celebrates communication and being five years out from NCA’s 100th Anniversary.

Final deadline for submissions is midnight (Pacific) on February 11, 2009. Submission instructions and convention information can be found at www.natcom.org/convention.

NCA Grant Money Available

NCA members can apply for one time grant funding for a proposal that advances the communication discipline. Any NCA member can apply for up to $5,000 in NCA grant funding. Learn more at www.natcom.org/grant

Founded in 1914, NCA is a non-profit organization of researchers, educators, students, and practitioners, whose academic interests span all forms of human communication. NCA is the oldest and largest national organization serving the academic discipline of Communication. Through its services, scholarly publications, resources, conferences and conventions, NCA works with its members to strengthen the profession and contribute to the greater good of the educational enterprise and society. Research and instruction in the discipline focus on the study of how messages in various media are produced, used, and interpreted within and across different contexts, channels, and cultures.
