Kuenstlerdorf Schöppingen Foundation is accepting applications for it 2009 residency programme. The foundation is offering up to 12 scholarships for writers, up to 12 for visual artists, up to 6 for new media artist and one for composers. The studios and apartements are located in two renovated 19th century farm-houses in in the western part of the Münsterland, Germany.

European Atelier for Young Festival Managers

The Cartier Award 2009: Call for Entries
The Cartier Award is open to artists living outside of the UK, up to 5 years from graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or under 30 years of age. The recipient of the prize will have the opportunity to present their work at Frieze Art Fair 2009. The prize includes: project production costs up to 10,000 GBP, an artist's fee, per diems, travel expenses and a studio residency at Gasworks Gallery. Proposals can take form of site-specific installations, performance, film, video or print work.- Deadline: January 5
News from the Pépinières
We are pleased to announce that the French visual artist Cecile Wesolowski is now carrying out her residency at AKI in Enschede, The Netherlands, within the frame of the MAP 2008 - 2009 programme. The MAP programme, which promotes the mobility of young artists from different cultures and horizons within Europe, is set up by the Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes with more than 105 partners and 26 countries.Ard Bia: A New Residency Space in Berlin
Ard Bia Berlin is a residential space for artistic research, located in the heart of the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin. Sited in a ground-floor apartment of a traditional Berlin Altbau residence, it offers artists and cultural practitioners the time and space to conduct in-depth research and professional development in a major cultural, artistic and urban hub.

International Guerrilla Video Festival
The International Guerrilla Video Festival is a mobile festival integrating video art with the urban and social environment. In 2009 the festival will be held in 3 unique areas of Dublin: Parnell Street, Rathmines and Talbot Street. The IGVFest woll project works relating to the social conditions of the site on building facades, monuments and temporary structures. Artists who are active in the areas and artists elsewhere addressing similar situations are invited to apply.
