11.16.2008 Dances Patrelle Fall Benefit The Dances Patrelle 2008 Fall benefit will be held at the stately House of the Redeemer, a landmark building at 7 East 95th St that was home to the great-granddaughter of Cornelius Vanderbuilt. Please join us as we present the first annual Yorkville Nutcracker Commitment to Excellence Award and our new Dances Patrelle Scholarship for Summer Study.

Francis Patrelle receives the Choo San Goh Award

Francis Patrelle is a recipient of the 2007 Choo San Goh Award for Choreography. This award will directly support the creation of the new ballet celebrating the life and music of Peggy Lee, to premiere in our Spring Repertory Program in May 2008.For more information about this award, see Choo San Goh Award.

Join Dances Patrelle at the Dicapo Opera Theater for their Spring Repertory Program, with a world premiere piece celebrating the life and music of Peggy Lee and choreographed by Francis Patrelle. dP will also be bringing back two classics — including Fuoco a Fiama, which will be staged by Cynthia Gregory. Celebrating the music of the American Songbook — this year's Fall Benefit will feature International Jazz Vocalist Cleve Douglass and pianist Colin Huggins.Auctioneer will be our very own Francis Patrelle!
