South Western Sydney Institute is an accredited vocational education and training institution which has built a reputation for industry responsiveness, quality student services and accessibility to all in its community.

There are nine colleges in the Institute. All nine are within one hour’s drive of one another, and are adequately serviced by the public transport system.

The Institute delivers quality training in universities, colleges and workplaces around the world.

The Institute offers training in a range of levels from Certificate (including Trade Certificate) to Advanced Diploma and Graduate Certificate.

We are part of the TAFE Commission of NSW, which was established as a statutory body under the TAFE Commission Act of 1990.

There are nine colleges in the South Western Sydney Institute - Bankstown, Campbelltown, Granville, Lidcombe, Liverpool, Macquarie Fields, Miller, Padstow and Wetherill Park. All nine colleges are within one hour’s drive of one another, and are adequately serviced by the public transport system.

The Institute offers some 650 full time and part time courses to approximately 79,300 students (or 23,700 Equivalent Full Time Students) of varying ages and backgrounds.
