Since our inception in April 1996, a number of changes have happned, both for the site itself and Bulletin Board systems as a whole. This is an overview of our history and a timeline.

The BBS Corner came about when there was a posting on an Internet Usenet newsgroup "alt.bbs" in the spring of 1996. Wayne Coombs of Los Angeles, CA was asking for someone to partner with him on a new website called thedirectory of BBSes and Internet Providers.   More detail...
