Formed in 1964, the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) is the only national not-for-profit organization that represents the voice and vision of more than 14,000 dental hygienists in Canada.

The CDHA serves dental hygienists in supporting their efforts to provide high-quality accessible care to Canadians. As the collective voice of dental hygiene in Canada, the CDHA contributes to the health of the public by leading the development of national positions and encouraging standards related to dental hygiene practice, education, research and regulation.

The CDHA is dedicated to the principle that all Canadians should have access to quality preventive oral health services provided by dental hygienists.
