Born in Bombay, India, Suneeta Vaswani emigrated to the U. S. in 1977. Concurrent with the move, Suneeta shifted her areas of interests from teaching Bonsai and Ikebana to teaching Indian cuisine.

Suneeta is active on the Houston culinary scene and has a wide range of teaching experience. She has been featured in several prestigious publications, is a member of International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) and the Houston Culinary Guild, and is recognized as the leading Houston authority on Indian cuisine.
