MWEB Holdings has acquired the Tiscali Internet business, with effect from 1 February 2005.

As a result of the acquisition, MWEB will be looking to build upon the existing range of products and services that Tiscali customers are accustomed to, including Internet access, communication and messaging services and a broad range of online content and tools available at Africa's leading Internet portal, www.mweb.co.za.

Tiscali connectivity subscribers will enjoy access to the value-added services and tools currently available to the existing MWEB members.
