Weatherline, Inc. began in 1968 with an experimental weather information service in the studios of KRCH, a popular FM radio station in St. Louis, MO. Dick Friedman, President of Weatherline, Inc., was then co-owner of the station. He launched the service with Sears, Roebuck & Co. as the first sponsor.

In the ensuing years, Weatherline, Inc. has grown to be the largest privately owned provider of on-demand weather and sports information in the U.S., serving over 130 cities with free-to-the-public service.   More detail...
