Disability Essex (the Essex Disabled People's Association Ltd) was formed in 1949, pioneering the concepts of local support, self-help groups and clubs.

Over the years, we have developed and adapted to meet the changing needs and aspirations of disabled people, reflected today in our access auditor training and the training we provide for other organisations.
