Fishes is the fastest growing variety of pets these days. Pet fishes (not the ones you see on the on the supermarket) are vibrant ornamental fishes that are mostly adorned on garden ponds (mostly landscaped) and aquariums. The most popular preference for pet fish these days is the Koi fish.

Technically, Koi fish are part of the variation of the domesticated and ornamental type of the carp family; meaning these colorful pet fishes are mutations of the “wild carp” that is why Koi fishes are classified in the same family of the carp.
