This site is for all those alumni whose colleges have closed, and left them without their educational roots.

Many old schools still have existing Alumni Associations, and, to varying degrees, are struggling to keep their organizations alive against overwhelming odds.

The Closed College Consortium ("CCC") was created so that representatives of closed schools can work together, gain strength and gather ideas from each other. On the next page, they are listed as "Participating Alumni and Associations."

We are aware of many other colleges that have closed their doors. We have tried to contact many of them, to invite their participation in this endeavor. Alas, many of the old schools do not have active alumni associations, no current web site, and no way to get in touch with them.   More detail...
